School Fetes and festivals can be diverse and often require council communication, which event essentials may be able to assist with. This primary school had live entertainment that required a 6x6m stage cover and stage. An eating area was set up using 1m round bistro tables and bistro chairs. The food stalls were provided with BBQ’s, hot waters urns, bain marie and 2.4m trestle tables. Crowd control at the stalls was achieved using white chain and chrome bollards. 3x3m Instant pop-up marquees are often ideal for these types of food stalls. This particular community event always attracts great numbers and this year was no exception. Other things you need to consider with community events are toilet facilities, entry & exit points, a good floor plan and a risk/safety plan. With extensive experience in these events and working with community volunteers Event Essentials may be able to assist you with these matters. This particular event was a huge success patrons able to sample a wide variety of foods, listen to great local music and enjoy exhibitions from the children. Most of all they were able to do it in a safe and well managed event.
